Our Story

Behires, formerly a digital platform for the mediation of regional events, was founded in August 2014 in Klaus, Vorarlberg (Austria). The company now operates on a global scale, with the management and control of all activities being conducted from Vienna.

Today, the company's profile is characterized by the development and provision of high-quality software and hardware solutions. These products are distinguished by their efficiency and the simplification of processes, leading to improved workflows in commerce and industry.

Since 2021, the headquarters of Behires has been located in Vienna, and since 2024, the company has been situated in the 19th district of Vienna, thereby further strengthening its presence and commitment in the Austrian capital.

Milestones

August 2014

Foundation of Behires

Launch of the platform behires.com in Klaus, Vorarlberg, Austria. A vision was born.

März 2017

A New Beginning

The platform was discontinued, and in its wake, Behires Enterprise eU was established. The company diversified its business activities by entering into online marketing and the cash register business in Vorarlberg and Tyrol.

August 2018

Market Expansion

Die Behires expanded its presence in Eastern Austria through the successful acquisition of a Salzburg company specializing in cash registers, following its bankruptcy filing.

September 2019

The Formation of Behires Group

By acquiring a majority stake in a Graz-based capital company responsible for the distribution of Becard - a digital business card - in Austria, Die Behires has expanded and strengthened its presence throughout the country.

März 2020

Product Expansion

With the launch of the 'orderbe.at' food ordering platform and the development of the 'Sunbe' solarium control system, Behires marks a significant milestone. At the same time, the company decided to withdraw from the web development and online marketing business area.

Jänner 2021

Relocation to Vienna

The foundation of Behire Services GmbH marks an important step in the company's development. At the same time, the headquarters of Behires was moved to the first district of Vienna. Concurrently, Becard, the digital business card, reached its second development phase and was able to win its first major customers.

April 2022

Expanding Market Presence in the EU

Behires sells its products in over 20 European countries.

Major Restructuring of the Behires Group

From three to one. The Behires Group is consolidated into one company with its headquarters in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
